Do Not Disturb December

Im taking a brief hiatus from social media to recharge my mental batteries…

From now til the New Year, No twitter, No Instagram, No Facebook. My journal and the blog will be my only social outlets. Speaking of my journal I don’t know why I didn’t think to start writing in a journal sooner. Getting my thoughts down on paper really helps with organizing my thoughts when I need to focus. It also allows me to get the negative thoughts off my chest and realize how ridiculous they are, I mean after all life could undoubtedly be worse and I have to remember how blessed I am for the littlest things, before I trip over mole hills made into mountains of issues. I need to get back to the real Boooogie. I’ve been bitchin n moaning about feeling old and tired when in fact I’m probably in the best shape of my life, just had my yearly physical, Im in tip top shape. i’ve really just been stuck in a rut mentally and its been affecting me physically too I guess. For one, I have terrible eating habits but thats an easy fix and Ive already gotten back to making my protein shake a day and exercising. Its only been two days but I feel good about this and myself which is two steps in the right direction.
