“Blindspotting”
Stumbled on this clip from the film blindspotting. Powerful scene but apart of me wish he blew his head off just to give the audience the realness of the situation.

Sick and tired!
Another black man slain at the hands of racist police. I don’t have any words for it other than how utterly ridiculous it is that during a pandemic Black people have to riot and raise hell because of the racist injustices the people hired to protect us. I didn’t even watch the video it’s all the same to me now… black men being killed isn’t even shocking to me anymore, and that’s the scary part, it’s become the norm.
Also I just find it funny #They can protest with guns drawn but when a black crowd protests its tear gas and riot gear. When #They stormed government buildings with assault rifles they had a police escort damn near.
Paying Homage
When I was a Freshman in college at 18 I saw Morgan State as a fashion show everyday as people wore their best outfits to 8am classes, hair done, make up beat, and I just couldn’t fathom putting that much focus on looks at the time cause I was an Engineering Major flooded with math courses. So I said fuck it Im gonna stick to the basics and load up on Polo Tees to stay fresh. A fresh tee everyday for maybe like 4 months.
E-Scent-Chew
First and foremost prayers up to our essential workers in this pandemic carrying the whole country on their back. This Coronavirus has produced some of the wildest circumstances and occurrences that I’ve ever seen in my 31 years. Crackhead Boxing Matches for money, IG live is actual television, People can’t sit still, The Beaches are opening but not the Barber shops and Salons… Sorry I haven’t posted anything in a while I’ve honestly just been keeping my head down, working, minding my business, and trying to keep my mind off all this madness. I bought a new camera and thats really all my mind has been on; where i’m gonna shoot, who, how I’m gonna edit it, just learning how to create in a new art form, not really new to me but with my first professional camera of my own..
The Winner of the #DrawAGoonChallenge is…..
This contest was one of the best ideas I’ve had this year and really connected a lot of artists and art enthusiast to not only the brand but to dope artists not only around the area DMV area but the world! The goal was to network and fuel collaboration through art and not some marketing ploy to gain from unbeknownst consumers. The entire competition was organic and just a creative way to pass the time. I’m glad we did this and there will be many more! Until then go place your @AmariDanielle x GoonMilk Shirt orders!
Mamba Day 2020
April 13th, 2016 Kobe Bean Bryant scored 60 points in his final NBA game! The shit was amazing and a testimony to his 20 year career of killing folk inbetween them lines!
An Homage to Rap Lyrics
Highest human act is to inspire.
I’ve been inspired by so many one liners through rap music it was only right I pay homage to some of the quotes that push me through any negative situation. A lot of times we dissect the lyrics of songs and attribute them to our own lives as affirmations or reminders that we are great, life could be worse, or to not care at all. Even the song “I don’t stress” is a “guaranteed get out of a shitty mood” song for me. So I figured why not create something that fuses fashion and that inspiration into something I can wear and inspire others.
RIP Chynna
The creative community took another lost yesterday as we found out that Philly’s sweetheart Chynna has passed due to an Overdose. I’m literally at a lost for words because of the mutual friends we have that are hurting right now, as well as shocked at the fact that so many of us young adults are dealing with addictions that most people will never know about. Me and Chynna weren’t close, we’ve run into each other through multiple times through the many intertwining music/art/fashion networks. A young bright talent that showed me and Pat around Philly’s trenches when we hadn’t a clue of where to go or what to do. I pray your soul is at peace now and this inspires someone to create and also inspires people to re-evaluate life and their vices.

GoonMilkTV vol.17 "I need a vacation"
February, My Mom, Me, E, and 20 other friends and family took a cruise vacation around a few Caribbean Islands including St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, and Barbados. We had the time of our lives partying and enjoying the beautiful weather and views as we took tours, hit beaches, and turned up the entire trip.
Draw-A-Goon CoronaVirus Quarantine Drawing Contest!
Lets see who can draw their best interpretation of what a “Goon” is to them! As we all are shut in due to the Covid-19 epidemic I had an idea to collaborate with artists as well as put some money in someones pocket, all while promoting the brand and creativity. The Artwork doesn’t have to be Michelangelo’s Sistine chapel, or a drawing at all, if you have a slogan or t shirt design that you want to get off, submit that as well. Im looking at this as everyone’s chance to be a designer for a day and create a new revenue stream through social distancing as well as social networking. Thats how you turn a negative into a positive and Get Out Of Negative Situations!
GoonMilkTV vol.16 “Do The Work.”
This episode of GoonMilkTV is dedicated to the amazing job done within the community by Azel Prather and the Prather Foundation! Providing positive vibes for not only his students but for kids all around the DMV area. Being praised by countless News outlets, featured on Ellen, and still having the time to host events, clubs, parties and comedy shows! Azel is the definition of Doing the Work! Proud to not only call Zel my friend but even more proud because he’s family! Watching him come into his own lane with these kids as well as comedy and everything else has motivated me and countless others around the area and country. Shoutout to all those that made all this possible, it takes a village, a dream village.
Im Back and Im Better!
Taking a vacation once a year with my family is imperative to my creative process and clearing my head. Especially after being sick with the flu/cold the week before. My family is my everything, it’s what I work for, Its what motivates me to get up every morning. Seeing my Mommas happy and enjoying every moment of this trip is something I will forever hold dear to my heart. Heres a few pics before I drop a full Recap. I had a whole blog post written up but then my macbook died and yeah nah i’m not doing that again lol.
I love, LOVE!
Happy Valentines Day to all the lovers out there! This is low key one of my favorite holidays, and whether you believe its a made up holiday or a conspiracy to spend unnecessary money, nonetheless the love is in the air.
Being Present
Yesterday I had the privilege of being on a Black Entrepreneur Panel for the kids at Potomac Job Corps for Black History Month! It is always a pleasure to share my story in business and inspiring the youth to pursue their dreams and aspirations.
Trials and Tribulations
This passed week was a literal week from Hell. Anything that could go wrong did, and with each L came a lesson right along with it.
Fear is stronger than Love
TRUST NO BODY!
The harsh reality is you are your best asset and the only person who truly has your back in any situation. Love does not equate to the fear people have of being wrong, the fear of losing out, even the fear of trusting you as well. Don’t ever put yourself in position to be at the mercy of someone else’s loyalty or love.
