Dior FW 2020 Show

Its starting to become clear that Kim Jones is my favorite Designer. He continues to impress with his Street influences and acknowledgment to the culture through collaborations and injection of celebrity influence that has catapulted every brand he’s been apart of into the forefront of Fashion. Dior Fall 2020 was no different using Graffiti Prints designed by Shawn Stussy, Jewelry by Yoon, a OG Air Jordan 1 collaboration, and accompanied backstage with the likes of Travis Scott, David Beckham, and the Kardashians, Kim and Kourtney. Kim Jones continues to push fashion forward and in a direction I can follow.

Im a fan, Kim Jones has subtly changed the trajectory of high fashion and given inspiration as well as taken inspiration from streetwear that gives a designer like myself a chance to see what high end streetwear would be and now is from a point of view of our generations infatuation with streetwear culture and high end luxury. From his Louis Vuitton x Supreme Collaboration a few years back to now working with Streetwear Giant Shawn Stussy and emerging japanese street artist/designer Yoon Ahn under Dior. Remember back in like 05 when everyone wanted those “POW” rings by Ambush, yeah thats all her. Excited is an understatement, I can’t wait see whats next up for Kim Jones and Dior.
