Ear to the Streets: Griselda

Benny the Butcher, Conway the Machine, and Westside Gunn have pretty much run the underground rap scene all 2019 but I think 2020 the Buffalo natives will be taking over main stream ears as well. Dropping like 12 projects last year each one full of brash bars and hard hitting beats from the likes of Alchemist and Derringer. Capping off the year with their debut album under Shady records “WWCD” and an interview with Elliot Wilson and Rap Radar. Griselda records has definitely taken over my iTunes recently played playlist from Benny the Butcher’s “The Plugs I met” to Conway’s “Look what I became”. Nothing but bars! Never been to buffalo but these guys paint a vivid picture that feels authentic as you listen and try picturing the stories and punchlines. If you’re not familiar take a look at their Rap Radar interview and download some tapes Im sure you’ll be spitting the punchlines bar for bar soon after.
