GoonMilk Ten Year Anniversary Art Gallery
Celebrating ten years of GOONMILK showcasing my Augmented Reality Art at 1 of 25 Black Owned Art Galleries in the Nation, 11:eleven Gallery. Not only is this a one of one experience it’s also for an amazing cause. Half of all proceeds will be donated to Federal inmate Jay Tharps of our G.O.O.N.S. Jpay program where we donate to inmates in need.
I chose to do an Art gallery because for one, I feel like I’ve done everything else possible lol. Fashion shows, been there done that, club hoppin, boring… But for this Ten Year landmark I wanted to do something new and challenging but also do it big! So I challenged myself the past two years to sharpen my art skills and start drawing portraits of my influences. What better way to celebrate those influences that drove me to running a successful business for ten years than to host my first of, I’m sure many more to come, Art Galleries!
Focusing on Art has exposed me to new talents I hadn’t yet tapped in to and opened my eyes to the various possibilities there are in life when you focus your mind on your goals and creating everyday! Have I totally given up on fashion for a paintbrush? Hell nah lol. But I am evolving and growing as an artist whom is very much intrigued in my personal growth. And like many of us that picked up new hobbies during the pandemic, I’d like to see this new talent blossom, with you alls support of course.
Not only did I curate 20+ portraits but they all are Augmented Reality capable. Meaning they have the ability to come alive using the Artivive App. Nothing like anything you’ve ever experienced!
