Mason’s 30th Birthday!
By far one of the Best Birthday Functions I’ve had the pleasure to Shoot! Bruh did it big and everybody showed love so even though I don’t know him, I know he’s a standup individual. Felt Like a College Homecoming party in there man real live! Happy Birthday and thank you for choosing Thee Booth Experience!
You Weren’t There!
This past weekend I had the pleasure of being on the You weren’t there podcast Hosted by Mia along with my bro Dre and up and coming Artist DFG Ju. A few years ago I vowed to not do podcasts because of how gimmicky and how fast they were popping up during the pandemic left and right. I’ve done a few of my family’s podcasts ie. Most Known Unknowns, and HighCodes Podcast but it stopped there. I chose to be a guest here because I respect what the podcast stands for; bringing real artistry to light, and creating real dialogue amongst creatives. Not click bait, not viral momentum, just real people with real talent having real convos. Something all three of the aforementioned podcasts have in common. I actually enjoy talking about my career and journey so this was a lot of fun. Check out the You Weren’t There Podcast Below!
Hurry Up Haven
Ash and I hosted our second Baby Shower/Halloween Party for Haven this past Sunday! Our second baby boy will be here end of the year/beginning of 2025 and it was only right we run back the costume party. Major thank you and appreciation to everyone who sent gifts, showed up, dressed up, and showed out for us! We are nothing without our Village!
Art All Night
I know I’m a Month or two late posting but I was invited to showcase my talents at MLK Library’s Art All Night Block Party! Art All Night is major in the DC Area, it hosts dozens of Creative events for the creatives in our area to connect with the community all weekend. This year was my first year being a participant in the festivities and another bucket list event checked off for me.
Viral
As 10 Million plus of you know, or may not know my ID photos recently went viral on the internet lol. My 2018 and 2024 IDs caused a frenzy of hilarious commentary on Twitter first and then IG this week. From “he’s a crackhead” to “the difference between doing weed and doing coke”, to “Thats what living in Maryland will do to you”. All quite hilarious to me and those who know me, but I’d like to give some background on the actual factuals.
Life Lately
Been a while since I had the time to unload life’s blessings into blog form, but things have been honestly amazing for me and my family.

Aligned
Tonight is the second installment of “Aligned” an Industry Mixer for the DMV artists to come collaborate, hear each others music and vibe out to the sounds of DJ Bri Mafia and Trilla Kay powered by 4TheDMV! Of course I’ll be there operating the photobooth and food by Chefe! First Aligned night was a banger! Literally my best night to date at the alumni working the booth. Much appreciation and respect to Bri for orchestrating these events, you forever Gang as far as I’m concerned. Come out support your local artists and see what youve been missing from the underground to mainstream talent in the DMV.
Breaking News
Mama we made it! The Alumni Spot was featured on Good Morning Washington ABC7 News last month and I had the pleasure of capturing the Behind The Scenes footage and getting a cool lil shoutout for my Photography and Marketing at The Alumni Spot. Also got some great shots of Yadi and Trae Backstage. The segment focused on Yaddiya’s continued community involvement and his venture into the Restaurant business, the amazing food Chef Chefe curates in the Alumni Spot, as well as how it all came about from Yaddiya’s Long Live Gogo Movement.
Voice of Da City
Continuing to push the Culture forward, J’TA is one of the new faces of Gogo Music taking the nation’s capitol by storm. From the hit CCB single “Optimistic”, to rocking Noochie’s “Front Porch Freestyles” with TOB, to headlining the Women of Gogo performances at the Mayor’s Keep the Beat Week celebration at the Alumni Spot. The Voice of the city is bringing that soul of Gogo back into the spotlight and deserves all the praise she’s getting.
Let the Church say Amen
Another Successful Church on Sunday Party at The ALumni Spot! Zay has figured out the sweet spot between cool kids and dance parties and continues to orchestrate a feel good environment on a monthly basis. Feels like The Alumni Spot is becoming the place to be when it comes to no drama, good music, good food, and getting your fit off.

Church on Sunday!
Finally made it to a Church on Sundays function! Ive known about these parties since the inception and never could muster up the energy to go out at night if it wasn’t a paid gig. Sunday it just so happened the Alumni Spot hosted “Church on Sundays” and let me tell you, I been missing out. Great Vibes, DJ rocking, and endless pics!
The Alumni Opening Night
The Alumni is officially open for business; hosting private parties, and invite-only Happy Hours on Thursdays. Featuring some of your favorite local DJ talents as well as Gogo Bands whilst delivering some delicious renditions of local food favorites by personal chef, Chef Chefe!
This Christmas
One Time For The Camera Man
In a world where your instagram profile is as important as your resume and every moment is documented whether its a birthday fit or a night out with the gang. But with everyone having a camera phone, the lack of respect for actual photographers is at an all time high lol. That being said, one of the greatest things about the Alumni is the Professional Photo Booth and being able to get that printed photo like back in the Gogo. Maybe its me being “old” but that was our first IG, a wall full of Gogo pictures.
Introducing the Go-Go Alumni Class of 2023!
I Really pulled up to Georgetown University with my work equipment and Curated a whole vibe. From printing the hoodies to taking the “yearbook” photos to being featured by the Washingtonian Magazine and Washington Informer Bridge Newspaper. We really had it up moe!
