Showcasing 26 original portraits with AR capabilities that blew people away as they recorded each piece on their phone. Toasted to the great times of the past and the ones to come in the near future.

Last Saturday I had the chance to shoot a charity flag football event #100Projects “Tackling the Digital Divide” thrown by my good friend Myrtis, creator of #100Projects and hosted by XFL wide receiver of the Washington Defenders, AJ Hendy. I also donated 30 shirts towards the event and the cause; providing learning tablets and laptops to underprivileged DC public school kids.

Last night Hanifa.co released her Pink label Congo collection and the show has taken fashion tech and marketing to a new level! The show featured Anifa’s jaw dropping drapery and details on computer rendered models that flattered curves and accentuated the “Black” female body. Ground breaking tech with a humanitarian purpose behind it. Focusing on the corruption and hardships of The Congolese people who are forced to mine minerals for the world’s cell phone industry where over 60% of the planets source of this miners lies. Anifa being of Congolese decent explained her purpose behind the line and how she can use her platform to bring awareness to her culture and the issues tearing apart her home country. She’s had her clothes work by everyone from Lizzo to Kylie Jenner and featured in Essence, Team Vogue and Co-signed by Edward Enninful and Anna Wintour. Anifa is the 🐐!

DNDDecember week 1
After a week of not indulging in social media I feel utterly better off. My journal holds all my would be tweets about my interpersonal life and I feel more focused, and less obligated to have to share my thoughts with people.
Do Not Disturb December
Im taking a brief hiatus from social media to recharge my mental batteries… From now til the New Year, No twitter, No Instagram, No Facebook. My journal and the blog will be my only social outlets.
